One SMG Property is delighted to announce the official opening of Quest II, the second apartment-hotel in Port Adelaide, located at 10–12 North Parade. Now open for bookings, the new property adds 88 brand-new executive apartment-style hotel rooms comprising 44 studios and 44 one-bedroom apartments (all twin-key), bringing the total room offering at Quest Port Adelaide to 191 rooms.
The development, spearheaded by Hans Ehmann and executed by Mossop Construction + Interiors with design by John Byleveld Architects, represents a major investment in South Australia’s tourism and business infrastructure, providing modern, flexible and quality accommodation in one of Adelaide’s most dynamic and fast-growing precincts. Located adjacent to the first Quest hotel, the addition enhances accessible services including secure ground-level car parking, reception, lounge lobby, gym, guest laundry, and an 80 m² conference room across levels 1 and 5.
Recent developments in the region’s defence sector, including naval shipbuilding and the build-up for the AUKUS nuclear submarine program, have significantly increased accommodation demand in Port Adelaide. The new Quest II property offers long-stay and business visitors a high-quality stay, while also supporting local businesses through non-on-site food and beverage provisions.
"Quest II marks our second successful and much-in-demand development in Port Adelaide," said Hans Ehmann, Managing Director, One SMG Property. "This project not only underscores our continued commitment to delivering premium accommodation but plays a pivotal role in preparing the region for AUKUS-related infrastructure growth and rising visitor demand. It positions Port Adelaide to meet future needs with both confidence and capacity.”
Quest II is part of The Ascott Limited's growing Quest Apartment Hotels portfolio across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, reinforcing One SMG Property’s dedication to community investment and quality infrastructure in South Australia.
