Smiths Bodyshops Announces Redevelopment of Historic Port Adelaide Facility

One SMG Property is proud to announce the redevelopment of its historic Port Adelaide Collison and Crash Repair facility, Smiths Bodyshop, a cornerstone of the community since its establishment in the 1950s. This project marks a new chapter in the shop’s long-standing history, transforming the site into a state-of-the-art collision repair center that will continue to serve Port Adelaide and its surrounding areas with the highest standards of excellence.

The redevelopment will modernise the facility with cutting-edge technology, expanded service capabilities, and improved customer amenities, reflecting Smiths Bodyshops' commitment to innovation while honouring its legacy of quality service. The design also incorporates sustainable features, ensuring that the facility meets the demands of today and tomorrow.

Planning approval for the redevelopment has been granted, and Mossop Construction + Interiors has been appointed as the builder. Development is expected to commence in early 2025.
